The Subscription Model Bucks the Click Charge Trend and Provides More Value to Court Reporters
DENVER (November 14, 2005) - RealLegal®, the market leader in technology to standardize, secure, and transmit electronic transcripts, unveiled RealLegal Unlimited™, a new subscription-based program that includes several software applications used by court reporting professionals to manage workflow, increase revenue and reduce expenses. RealLegal Unlimited will officially launch on January 1, 2006, but preferred monthly subscription rates are available until the end of 2005.
RealLegal Unlimited bundles thousands of dollars worth of software, upgrades, technical support, digital signatures, and online storage for as little as $85 per month. Each subscriber receives a full system of technology that mitigates the risk of corrupted transcripts and lost files, while enabling better procedures for managing deposition-related work.
“We didn’t want a dollar sign to get in the way of our clients using the very best software for their businesses,” said Jason Primuth, General Manager for RealLegal. “Subscribers to RealLegal Unlimited will never have to limit their service offerings because they couldn’t afford a large upfront investment in software.”
RealLegal’s departure from traditional software licensing is based on cues from the legal industry involving data integrity, format compatibility, and on-demand access to litigation documents. The new pricing model makes it easier for court reporting firms to adopt the latest technology for protecting data, distributing work product in any leading formats, and utilizing the Internet as an alternative delivery method. RealLegal Unlimited also includes all technical support and upgrades, as well as a selection of tools that court reporting firms might have considered cost-prohibitive in the past.
Two RealLegal Unlimited plans are available. RealLegal Unlimited Workflow™ includes a full suite of applications for transcripts, signatures and stenographic notes for $85 per month:
- Unlimited use of E-Transcript Manager™ software on one workstation
- Unlimited installations of E-Transcript Reporter Edition™ software
- Unlimited supply of E-Transcript Signatures™
- A private RealLegal StenoBank™ with one gigabyte of storage
- A RealLegal DepoSchedule™ account enabling attorneys to schedule future depositions with a few clicks of the mouse.
RealLegal Unlimited MultiMedia™ includes everything in the standard plan plus RealLegal Publisher™ for digital exhibit bundling, RealLegal MediaSync™ for synchronized video, and RealLegal iBinder™ for Web delivery. The entire RealLegal Unlimited Multimedia package is only $135 per month.
